Terms of Service

The hosted Service and open-source software

These Terms govern the hosted Service. The open-source MiniGrove package and other software distributed with their own license terms are governed by those licenses, including the Apache License 2.0 where identified, rather than by these Terms. Using the hosted Service from open-source software remains subject to these Terms.

Accounts and access

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your password, browser sessions, MiniGrove API tokens, and connected sign-in accounts.
• Do not share credentials or API tokens. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
• The Service is a general-audience developer service and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may not create an account or use the Service. We do not ask for a date of birth or age-screen users. If you are at least 13 but not legally able to enter into this agreement on your own, a parent, guardian, or other authorized representative must agree on your behalf.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law, violate another person's rights, or upload content you do not have the right to use or share;
• distribute malware, malicious code, spam, or deceptive invitations;
• access another person's account or project without permission, impersonate someone, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service, or bypass its authentication, authorization, security, or rate limits;
• use the Service as a credential, secret, or personal-data store; or
• help anyone else do any of the above.

If you discover a security issue, report it privately to [email protected] and do not exploit it or access data that is not yours.

Your content and projects

You retain ownership of the games, code, search-tree cards, canon snapshots, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). Muyi Games does not claim ownership merely because you use MiniGrove.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, and process your User Content only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service. This license lasts while the content is hosted and for the limited backup and legal-retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and grant this license. Do not upload passwords, API keys, private keys, or personal information that your collaborators have not agreed to share.

Project content is available to the project's members. Owners control membership and may invite or remove members, change roles, or delete the project. Collaborators may read or copy content they can access, so share projects only with people you trust. You are responsible for keeping your own backup; MiniGrove is not a backup or archival service.

Our Service and intellectual property

Except for User Content and separately licensed open-source software, the Service, its design, and its content are owned by Muyi Games or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service while you comply with them.

MiniGrove, Grove CLI, Muyi Games, and associated names and logos may be trademarks. These Terms do not grant a right to use them. If you send us feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, but you are not required to provide feedback.

Third-party services

The Service can interact with third-party services such as Google, GitHub, Cloudflare, Render, and Resend. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability may affect MiniGrove.

Fees

The Service is currently offered without charge. We may offer paid features in the future, but we will present the price and any additional terms before you choose to purchase them. We will not charge you without your affirmative agreement.

Changes, availability, and beta features

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, security work, failures, or circumstances outside our control. We do not promise a service-level commitment under these Terms. Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice of a material discontinuation so you can retrieve content available to you.

Features identified as beta, preview, experimental, or similar may be incomplete, change without notice, and be discontinued at any time.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can revoke a MiniGrove API token with grove logout, delete projects you own through the Service, and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or its users, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law, address nonpayment of future paid features, or enforce these Terms. We may terminate access for a material or repeated violation. We will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue when reasonably practical, but may act immediately when delay could cause harm or create legal or security risk.

On termination, your right to use the hosted Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and general terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and delete personal information when you use the Service.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Muyi Games and its suppliers disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that User Content will not be lost or damaged.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muyi Games and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to the Service, even if advised that such damages were possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Muyi Games and its suppliers arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of 100 US dollars or the amount you paid Muyi Games for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded. They allocate risk between you and Muyi Games and are an essential basis of the agreement.

General terms

These Terms and the documents they expressly incorporate are the entire agreement about the hosted Service and replace earlier agreements about it. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all relevant assets. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, agency, or third-party-beneficiary relationship.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated Terms here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a change materially reduces your rights, it will apply prospectively. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
